SCALANCE W778 M12 access points are especially designed for cabinet-free configurations in industrial plants. Due to their compact design and the choice of mounting options, the devices can be installed at locations that are ideal for radio technology. The robust aluminum die-casting and the connections plugs are resistant to high levels of shock and vibration because all the connectors are screwed in place. This makes the SCALANCE W778-1 M12 ideally suited for environments where a compact, rugged design with IP65 protection plays an important role.
For real-time requirements, the SCALANCE W778-1 M12 can be equipped with KEY-PLUG functionality for activating iFeatures.
